The father of a little girl who was sexually abused is speaking out, about the recent arrest of a Carteret County suspect who faces more than 60 charges for preying on children. That suspect is Jimmy Brown, who was convicted in 2006 of taking indecent liberties with a 3-year-old girl.
The girl's father, Michael Greeson, says he's outraged brown had a chance to commit similar crimes again. Greeson is brown's brother in law, and says Brown is not part of his family anymore. Brown spent several months in jail following his 2006 conviction, but was released. Greeson says he just doesn't understand why.
According to the district attorney, brown could spend much of the rest of his life in jail if convicted of all 60 charges.
