Springtime is one beautiful time to visit some of America's prettiest small towns, right here in Eastern Carolina. And this weekend, Edenton is opening its doors to visitors from around the globe, during the Bi-Annual Edenton pilgrimage. One of Eastern Carolina's oldest port towns also has one of the most diverse collections of architecture, stretching from the colonial days to the present. The Edenton Women's Club has been at the forefront of preserving that heritage, and since 1949 has been holding the pilgrimage every 2 years to celebrate their past.
