Child Sex Charges

A New Bern man now stands accused of sexually abusing a child. Police say 32-year-old Eugene Goodrich faces two counts of sexual activity by a substitute parent. Police say Goodrich was not related to the child, but was responsible for the care of the child at times. Goodrich is locked up in the Craven County Jail under a $300,000 bond.
