Rocky Mount Murder Suspect Faces Death Penalty

He's accused of murder and attempted murder inside a Rocky Mount church. Now a Nash County man faces the death penalty.

Tommy Lee Holiday is charged with the murder of meals on wheels worker Debbie Kornegay in October. Police say he also stabbed another volunteer, Eve Beasley, but she survived the stabbing.

At a preliminary hearing Tuesday a judged found enough evidence for a grand jury to consider the case. The district attorney says he'll seek the death penalty.

They should give him death in the same manner he inflicted it on his victim. These nice ladies were out VOLUNTEERING their time to help and feed the shutins and some punk who probably hasn't even got a life (because he is to sorry to get a job and have a life for himself) is going to end someone elses life. The punk did not even have the nerve to jump someone that could defend themselves. He is a yellow bellied COWARD !!!!!
