It's A Small World in Greenville

The sunny skies looked down upon another great event Saturday, one centered around America's nickname, the melting pot.

Its called the International Festival and with Saturday's activities, it marks the 14th such festival of its kind for Greenville. There were Japanese, German, Swiss, Moldovian, Jamaican, Polynesian, French, Mexican, Spanish, and many, many more cultures in attendance at the festival. Organizers say 2,000 people came out for the good cooking, music, crafts and fellowship.

Organizers say that around 30 booths took part in the festival, representing countries around the world, with residents living right here in Eastern Carolina.
