North Carolina families who have lost loved ones in traffic accidents now have a forum to share information.

The State Highway Patrol set up the memorial page on the Internet for people to share information and include remembrances of their loved ones killed in traffic accidents.

To get to the memorial, go to the North Carolina Crime Control home page at www.nccrimecontrol.org and click Divisions, then click State Highway Patrol, then click on Fatality Victims Memorial.

Troopers say each year more than a thousand people are killed in accidents investigated by the Highway Patrol.
