He knows first hand what Terry Schiavo and her family went through. Now beloved former ECU baseball Coach Keith Leclair shares his thoughts on life, death and who decides. In an e-mail sent out to friends and family a few weeks ago, Coach Leclair calls Terry Schiavo an inspiration and says he admires her for her courage and fight to live. In the e-mail Leclair says "I know a lot of people are thinking 'why does he want to keep living like this?' On the outside my appearance looks as if I were dead, but on the inside I'm as alive as ever." Leclair's communicating device scans his eyes to determine what letter he is looking at and then it then turns those letters into sentences.
