The search for murder suspect Cesar Laurean is now worldwide.

Laurean has now been entered into Interpol's alert system that covers 186 countries.

The Interpol-United States National Central Bureau sent the international "all points bulletin" for Laurean on Friday.

The Interpol text alert is the first step in getting a Red Notice for Laurean. The Red Notice is placed in foreign law enforcement databases, border lookout systems, and a central database that's used by all 186 Interpol member counties.

Laurean, a Camp Lejeune Marine, is accused of killing Lance Corporal Maria Lauterbach on December 14th and burying her body in a shallow grave in his backyard.

The FBI believes Laurean, who was born in Mexico, has fled to his native country.

Marines say he's not a flight risk, yet co-workers tell the FBI he'd go to Mexico if convicted of rape. Either NCIS couldn't put two and two together, or his friends chose loyalty over going to superiors with his "I'm going to Mexico if convicted" statement until it was too late. wow.
