Hat's off to you Eastern Carolina, the numbers are in from one of the biggest Children's Miracle Network Radiothon broadcasts in the east.
Your favorite radio crew from Oldies 107.9 kicked off their 8th Annual CMN fundraiser Friday with start up donations around 198,000 dollars. Sunday your pledges capped more than 603,000 dollars for their weekend long CMN special. Funds raised from the day's Radio-A-Thon will go to benefit the kids immuno-suppressed special unit better known as KISS-U.
The radiothon ended around 5 Sunday afternoon but pledges are still being taken online at www.pittmemorialfoundation.org. WITN-7 will host a Children's Miracle Network telethon on June 4 and 5.
