Eastern Carolina has some of the most beautiful countryside. Now, you can see it by horse. It's the 2005 Hyde County Trail Ride, a fundraiser to help children's charities from the 4-H Club to the Boy Scouts.
The ride which takes place next weekend, April 9, will take riders on an overnight camping trip through wildlife refuge areas near Lake Mattamuskeet where deer, ducks and many other animals can be spotted.
The weekend's event will also feature a charity auction and a live band. Tickets can be purchased the day of the ride.
