Military Tall Ship Visits Eastern Carolina

It's the only ship of its kind in the United States military fleet, and for the last two days it's been docked in Morehead City. Hundreds of people turned out to see and board the U.S. Coast Guard cutter "Barque Eagle." The 295-foot barge is the only active duty three-masted military war ship used to train officers and officer cadets at the United States Coast Guard Academy. The ship is also used for public relations. There is talk of bringing the ship back to eastern North Carolina in June for the tall ships event.
