Many of us have treasures we've collected since childhood, but most of those treasures aren't worth thousands of dollars.
Larry Phillips says he has one of those collections, rare American coins he's been collecting for over 50 years. Liberty head silver dollars, buffalo nickels, and more... Some dating back to the 1880's. However, with Phillips, his love of coins has passed to his granddaughter as well. He says there's just something mysterious about it.
His collection could earn Phillips some money down the road. Phillips says a man offered to pay him 2500 dollars for just one of his coins, but he turned him down.
