Stolen Truck Driven Into River

A beverage truck filled with $13,000 worth of beer and wine sits at the bottom of the Neuse River in Kinston. The truck is submerged in about 14 feet of water and is stuck in some underwater trees. The heavy recovery crew that's been brought in from Durham is having a tough time pulling it out. The truck, which was stolen from a Greenville Distribution Company sometime Tuesday morning, was driven to the North Carolina wildlife ramp on Highway 70. There the driver put it in the water and the currents carried it to where it was found. So far police have no suspects in this case.
