Will They Ever Stop?

Gas prices are approaching an all-time high and nearly everyone is feeling the pinch at the pump. That's especially true for delivery businesses and school systems. According to Triple-A Carolinas, gas prices in North Carolina have been increasing more than a penny a day since March 4. The automotive group says prices in fuel have jumped 14 cents in the past 12 days to reach an average of just over $2.00 in North Carolina. The prior record of $1.97 was set October 30, 2004. Some tips to help your car get better gas mileage: Make sure tires are properly inflated, use cruise control on the highway to moderate speed and buy regular unleaded gas unless your owner's manual calls for a higher grade.
