Truck And Train Collide, Highway 17 Closed

Highway 17 is closed in Craven County south of Washington and north of New Bern, near the town of Ernul, because a log truck and train collided.

Small rural roads are being used to detour around the accident. Officials suggest traffic use Highway 43 and Ernul Road to get around the accident.
