Convicted Sex Offender Arrested On Drug Charges

A man WITN interviewed back in November for failing to register as a convicted sex offender is in trouble with the law again.

41 year-old Ernest Rambo of Washington in Beaufort County now faces several drug charges.

Washington police and the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office arrested Rambo Thursday and charged him with three counts of trafficking in Opium, two counts of maintaining a dwelling for drug related purposes, and one count of Possession with intent to sell or deliver a controlled substance.

Rambo moved to Washington two years ago and is charged with failing to register as a sex offender after serving time in Pennsylvania for first degree sexual offense.

No need to worry about demonic spirits. How about people just quit breaking the law? It's not hard. I live my life everyday without doing so. I prefer to make my money honestly...not by selling drugs. Come on people!

Did not know your husband but his rep speaks for itself. Please better yourself and the life of your child and take care of the two of you and go far away from this man. You can start a new life in a new town without all this stress.

Well to those of you who don't know my husband which is all of you and you were not there 24 yrs ago and have not read the transcripts from his court case. He was actually accused of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. He and An old friend had a beef with another teenager. My husbadn helped physically beat him then his old friend Billy Quillin did some sexual stuff. Since my husband didn't stop it he got a sexual charge. He actually left and had his sister call the police. The teenager who got beat up testified in court that my husband did no sexual stuff to him. So he got a raw deal on that. YES i read it in the transcripts. He should actually be registered he as a crime against nature but because PA can't find his records they put first degree sex offense. Please know your facts before you make judges. Would you like me judges you for something you didn't do or got a raw deal or wrongfully accused. NO you wouldn't.

I completely agree with you. I was once in a jury pool. The attorney asked what I thought was a fair punishment for someone convicted of sexual assault. I asked him if castration was an option. Needless to say, I was not put on that jury. As for Mrs. Rambo...why is it your husband is being charged with maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of trafficking drugs, yet you had no clue he was selling? Was he paying money to rent another place or was he selling out of your home ("supposedly")? If it was out of your home, I hope he is charged with child endangerment, too. I am so sick of hearing about kids being raised in homes with drugs around them. Let kids be kids and remain innocent as long as possible. They know too much too early as it is. People that do things like that deserve to be locked away forever.

Sex offenders are the lowest form of life. There is no cure for these people and they will not stop. They need to be castrated or executed. You pick.

Holly, you need to stop lashing out at others about seeing them in court and just do the right thing.

Thank-You Holly. No i really don't know weather or not he was. I am in school all day long. So i have no clue what he does why i'm not home. I know what he was supppose to be doing and that is watching our son. I'm not gonna let anyone tell me how to feel. My mom raised me better then that and I know i can survive on my own. I pray everyday and everynight so I am gonna stay strong in the LORD. Agai Thank-you for your comment.
