Thousands of kids and their parents clamored together along Highway 12 in Nags Head Sunday afternoon, for a shot at some free candy and Irish fun.
Friends and neighbors on the Outer Banks donned their best green garnish for the Annual Kelly's St. Patrick's Day Parade. Plastic beads and candy chews rained down along the beach, as fire trucks wailed and children scrambled under sunny skies Sunday.
