Stocks Higher On Wall Street

Stock prices are headed upward as the market awaits the latest from the housing market. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 37 points in today's early going.

The Nasdaq Composite Index is ahead 6 points and the Standard-and-Poor's 500 Stock Index is up 5 points.

Investors are awaiting a housing market indicator that could give the Federal Reserve more wiggle room to cut interest rates.

The National Association of Realtors' index that tracks pending U.S. home sales is expected to have inched lower during November,
another indication that the housing market's struggles aren't over yet.

Yeah, stocks started up early but dropped sharply when exit polls in N.H. indicated Hillary Clinton would most likely win. Hint!
