Construction crews are on the move on Dewitt street in Jacksonville, which has been closed for more than a year.
The street was closed for over a year after the dam created a sinkhole causing the street to collapse and putting homes in danger of being flooded.
After a lengthy wait, the city obtained a permit to fix the street, but not the privately owned dam.
Repairs should be complete sometime in February.
