All of their retirement money is just gone. We're talking perhaps millions of dollars.
Hundreds of investors across the East are angry. Many investors say the money has simply disappeared, claiming the advisor entrusted to invest their money has ripped them off.
Now the Secretary of State's office says over 150 complaints have been filed against the Rocky Mount insurance and investment firm called Jo Jones and Associates, as well as a Charlotte based firm called Bab Productions. Many of these complaints filed are for misplaced investments that range anywhere from $100,000 to $200,000.
WITN tried contacting Jo Jones and Associates Wednesday to ask them about the investigation, but couldn't reach them. The Secretary of State's office says the investigation is still on going and it could be sometime before they'll know how many millions are missing and where it went.
