Global Transpark Authority officials are saying little about reports it won't be able to repay a state loan on time. The Global Transpark Authority has a balance remaining from a $30,000,000 state loan and it comes due on July 1.
Transpark executive director Darlene Waddell isn't saying how much money that is, but tells WITN 7 News it's a complicated matter and feels it will be settled in the upcoming legislative session. Many lawmakers have been pushing for the GTP to become self sustaining, not relying on state funds.
