Rudolph Case Proceeds

The death penalty case against abortion bombing clinic suspect Eric Robert Rudolph will move forward. A federal judge refused a defense claim that the serial bombing suspect should be tried under a law that doesn't allow capital punishment. The case against Rudolph, who was arrested in Murphy, North Carolina, could get started with opening statements in late May.
