Robber Sentenced to 13 Years

At least 13 years, that's time a Craven County man will do in prison after a judge sentenced him for committing two armed robberies. 24 year old Andre Williams pled guilty in a Craven County court room Friday after he once admitted to police he committed three robberies in October of last year, in order to pay child support. Superior Court Judge Ken Crow handed down the sentence that will be a minimum of 13 with a maximum of 16 years for the crimes. Lawmen say Williams was not only in the armed robbery of an ABC Store, but they say he was also a co-conspirator in two armed robberies of New Bern hotels.
