There's been a huge buzz on the Outer Banks and a little confusion since Jesse James, star of the Discovery Channel hit show Monster Garage, let it out on National TV that he'd be filming the season finale of his show in the most challenging construction to date, a flying car.
The flying car is built around a $92,000.00 domestic sports car, a Panos Esperante. The flying car has flaps, but no rudder and wasn't designed to fly circles around the airport.
Jesse just wanted to prove in the spirit of the Wright Brothers and the rules of the show that his team could build a flying car in five days under budget, and he did!
The Monster Garage grand finale will likely air in a two part broadcast June 6 and 13.
