Christmas is ever approaching, and what better time than to have another holiday parade, especially with Mother Nature's help.

It felt a little more like Christmas along Main Street in Farmville as the floats passed on by. City officials tell us there were over 100 entries this year, all to the crowds delight. Marching bands played fight songs, the Shriners drove in circles, and everyone had a good time. But this year's theme of Toys for Tots was particularly fitting to the parade goers.

The Marines were out in their dress blue uniforms collecting the extra toys for the Toys for Tots campaign.
