Folks gathered for some Christmas cheer at the Morehead City parade Saturday morning. Thousands gathered along downtown Arendall Street as the parade kicked off at 11 o'clock. Although it was a little chilly, the sun was out, and the little ones were wrapped up ready to watch over a hundred different groups from high school marching bands to Santa Claus make their way down the parade route. Kids certainly got their share of candy Saturday as well.
