Former Banker Guilty of Embezzlement

A former fraud investigator for RBC Centura is going to jail for embezzling $235,000 from the bank. Deborah Powell Ricks pled guilty Monday to felony embezzlement. She has been ordered to repay the bank in addition to her time in prison. Authorities say she diverted money into her personal accounts between 1996 and 2003.
