Teaching nature through art, that was the aim of a waterfowl decoy children's workshop in Washington Saturday.
There was a myriad of artistic interpretation as dozens of kids across Beaufort County painted what they saw in their feathered friends. At the North Carolina Estuarium kids weren't just painting, but the Annual Children's Decoy Painting Workshop taught the kids from as young as 4 on up to 12, a full appreciation for wildlife.
