The first airport in the East to get jet service back is getting more jets for its passengers, starting this weekend. Albert J. Ellis Airport in Onslow County got one 50-seat jet a day on its U.S. Airways route to Charlotte in December. But, starting Sunday, six flights a day will feature jet service in new regional commuter jets, one of them a 70-seater. New Bern is now in discussion with U.S. Airways and Delta's commuter carrier is eyeing Kinston for future jet flights.
