"Hardcore" Honored At Camp Lejeune

On the anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attacks in Hawaii, a unique group of veteran servicemen were honored Friday at Camp Lejeune.

They're called hardcore warriors. They served in World War Two, and the Vietnam and Korean War. Well over a dozen men were presented on Friday with a plaque bearing a certificate thanking them for their service.

One man even came from as far as Myrtle Beach to receive the plaque. Some of the Veterans recalled war stories from the battlefield. But many were just happy to be recognized for their service.
