Teenager Charged In Robbery

Police say the case of a Greenville woman walking into her home to find an armed robber inside is solved. A teenager is now charged with the crime.

Seventeen-year-old Brian Murphy, of Grace Street in Greenville, was arrested early Friday morning.

Police say Murphy was robbing a home on East 14th Street last week when the homeowner came back and found him inside with a handgun. She was not hurt.

Murphy is charged with breaking, entering, larceny and robbery with a dangerous weapon.

AMEN to "Big J's" comment. I can't believe the "annonymous" person wants this to just fade away. How can anyone feel safe when there are folks out riding around on bicycles with guns! What about the victim here? If that person that wants this to just "fade away" was the victim he/she would be "singing" a different tune. How can anyone support such a crime!

Thank the Lord he has been caught. I would hate to think an armed man was still running loose invading homes. Thank you WITN for following this story to the end.
