An attempted murder case has turned into a homicide investigation, after one of the victim's died.
On Wednesday, Wilson Police arrested 22 year old Andrea Montreal Jones, and charged him with two counts of attempted murder, when they say he shot Lamar Anthony Williams, and Roy Lee Applewhite on Friday, January 21st. However, Applewhite died Saturday at Pitt County Memorial Hospital, and Jones will now be charged with murder. Wilson Police believe there was a second subject with Jones, and they are still looking for him. If you have any information about this crime contact the Wilson Police Department.
