Lawmen have charged two men in the brutal attack and murder of a 77 year old Washington man with two separate counts of open homicide.
Police say 40 year old Giles Ian Keyes and 42 year old Wayne O'Neal both from Washington, entered the home of 77 year old Samuel Morris on Clifton Meadows, then robbed and attacked him. Nine days later Morris died as a result of his injuries.
Keyes and O'Neal have been arrested for the crimes and placed in the Beaufort County jail without bond.
