It was more than just for kicks for one Eastern Carolina kicker this past weekend.
Leslie Finch, a sixth grader from Wilson showed a strong leg for kicking a football last weekend in Pittsburgh at the National Punt, Pass and Kick Finals. Finch finished 2nd overall in the 10 and 11 year old girls age group . She was one of several finalists from more than 3.5 million participants in the competition run by the NFL. An event Finch said was truly a once in a lifetime opportunity.
In addition to winning her trip to Pittsburch Finch also won tons of NFL gear, a trophy and a football autographed by the Philadephia Eagles' Donovan McNabb.
