In an effort to educate tomorrow's teachers about school violence issues today, East Carolina University's College of Education brought Dr. David Vodila, a school violence expert to speak on campus.
Vodila spoke to students studying to become teachers about how to identify potential problems and which solutions are most effective.
Vodila says school violence occurs regardless of how good a curriculum is or how solid the teachers are in the classroom.
