Thursday, WITN-7 cut the ribbon on its new news bureau located in the heart of beautiful downtown New Bern. A big celebration was held at the location, the O'Mark building at 233 Middle Street.
The New Bern Area Chamber of Commerce was part of the big event. The news bureau is equipped with a rooftop camera that provides a view of the city and the waterfront. With that camera, we'll be able to provide you with live pictures of things like inclement weather.
We'll also air live reports from the news bureau and be able to reach out to the community and surrounding areas to gather stories that affect your community.
