What do we do now? That's what one Beaufort County family is asking after a fire destroyed everything in their home Tuesday night.
Kenneth Pollard, his wife, son, and family friend are spending a few nights at the Econo Lodge in Washington, thanks to the Beaufort County Chapter of the American Red Cross and Woodard's Pond Church of Christ in Beaufort County. But in five days when that stay runs out Kenneth says he has no idea what they will do.
Kenneth says he didn't own his home of nearly 20 years, but made an agreement with the land owner allowing them to stay there for life. Kenneth says he hopes the owner will allow him to put a trailer on the land to live in.
