The State Board of Elections is demanding information from the campaign of former House Speaker Jim Black, which still hasn't reported how it spent money in the first half of 2007.

The 72-year-old Black is currently serving a federal prison
sentence in Pennsylvania after pleading guilty earlier this year to
a corruption charge.
Black's campaign reported in January it had about $57,000 in
cash on hand. In a report filed six months later, it reported about
$36,000 in expenses but didn't say how much cash it still had. The
state has asked for a complete accounting.
Black's campaign faces a possible fine for not completing the
disclosure report. Black also owes $1.1 million in fines and other
costs tied to his criminal case.
