Updated: Abducted Children Found In Georgia

Grandparents of two missing Pitt County children are now on their way to the Atllanta area to be reunited with their grandkids.

The two children are Dakera Evans, age 3 and Damya Evans, who will turn four next week. Police in Smyrna found them yesterday afternoon at a relative's house. That relative told police they did not know the childrens' mother was on the run.

Deputies say 24 year old Demetria Taylor failed to return her children Sunday after a Thanksgiving visit. The children's grandparents have legal custody.

Earlier this week child abduction warrants were issued for Taylor.

Pitt County authorities say they tracked the youngsters down after Taylor applied for welfare benefits in Georgia and used the relatives address in Smyrna.

First of all i would like to start off by saying i disagree how everything went down. My sister is a wonderful mother, and far as my father if that's what you want to call him.He was never there, you see there's two sides to a story.People that know my sister got on the news made it out like my sister abducted her children when she had permission.Evething thats in the dark will come to the light.
