The giants of the farm fields were down-sized Saturday and put on display in Beaufort County.
From tractors to trenchers, diggers and dumpers, miniature farm toys lined the display hall at Beaufort County Community College. Lovers of the smaller fine arts tinkered and toyed with thousands of models on display by local vendors and the Future Farmers of America. Organizers of this farm-toy show say their mission is not only to have fun but to also raise funds for Beaufort County Community College scholarships. The Elm City Boy Scouts will sponsor the next and 5th Annual FAA Farm Toy event November 26th and 27th at the Wilson County Agricultural Center.
