Man Charged in Sex Case

A New Bern man is behind bars charged with first-degree statutory rape and first-degree sexual offense against a juvenile.

Lawmen say the crime happened nearly two years ago.

Charles Crook was arrested Wednesday and was being held under a $100,000 bond in the Craven County jail.
