The Sydney Dive Team is continuing to help around the state. On Friday a little before 1 a.m. the Sampson County Sheriff's Department received a report that 40 year old Quinn Patrick O'Quin of Harrells North Carolina had gone missing. Deputies later discovered O'Quin's canoe, boat paddle and hat in the pond adjacent to his home shortly before 1:30 a.m. The Sydney Dive Team along with other agencies were called earlier Sunday to search the pond . The Sydney Dive Team from Beaufort County and the New Bern Craven County Rescue Squad recovered the body around noon Sunday.
