More changes are on the way to the Beaufort County Board of Commissioners. After losing two commissioners this year, a third seat on the board is up for grabs.

WITN has learned that County Commissioner David Moore plans to leave his position next Tuesday, just two weeks after Election Day when voters replaced the most recently vacated position in August. At least two people are in line as nominees for Moore's position.

Moore told WITN his reasons for leaving the board was because he was tired of all the arguing and bickering and believes that kind of atmosphere doesn't serve the public. Plus, he says he's ready to go in a new direction.
