A Special Reunion For Local Family On Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving Day is all about spending time with your loved ones, but many soldiers are overseas and unable to celebrate the holidays.

Williamston native Jeff Taylor is one of those soldiers. He is a sergeant first class in the army and Thursday we invited his grandmother "Granny Jo" to the WITN studios for a chance to see and talk to her grand son on this thanksgiving holiday.

Taylor has a wife and three children who are currently in Germany. He plans on visiting his family in Williamston when he gets back from this tour which is fifteen months.
