Stocking the Food Bank

The holidays are a time for celebrations and good eating, but for our area's less fortunate, there may not be enough food to eat on their tables. That's why organizations like the North Carolina Food Bank will continue collecting non-perishable food items to help feed the hungry.

Although the bank has collected thousands of pounds of canned goodies, they still need your help. Everything from cereal, frozen food, and even toiletries will be accepted. Baby food is needed, too. You can drop off your food donation at the warehouse located at the intersection of Clark and 9th Street between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
