Unclaimed luggage sat in long rows at the U.S. Airways hub at the
Charlotte airport Monday as the airline tried to deliver overdue
baggage. That was just one of many problems for U.S. Airways over the holiday. Union leaders blame the lost luggage and canceled flights on poor planning. U.S. Airways executives say they were forced to cancel hundreds of flights because triple the usual number of flight attendants called in sick.
