Greene County authorities say a prisoner is still on the loose after he escaped from a county prison Saturday afternoon. Prison authorities and Greene County Sheriff's Deputies are still searching for 41 year old Larry Shumate, who climbed over the fence and escaped into the woods behind the facility. Law enforcement called out tracking dogs, but Shumate has not been located yet. Shumate was only serving a four month sentence for misdemeanor driving while license was revoked. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Larry Shumate is asked to call the Greene County Sheriff's Department.
