It's the first of its kind along the far Eastern Carolina community, and the town of Creswell is it's home. The Outer Banks Speedway had it's opening drag race Saturday as dozens of racers burned rubber here for a chance at the strip's first winning purse. The brand new Outer Banks Speedway is at the corner of Highway 64 and Benson Road in Creswell. Drag races will be held again Sunday.
