Jacksonville is honoring all its veterans this weekend. And a special group of vets is also gathering for another purpose.
Native American veterans are being honored at the first ever Great Salt Water Pow Wow at the Onslow County fairgrounds in Jacksonville.
Friday, more than 2,000 school children from across the state met some of those heroes and lots of everyday heroes, like teachers, deputies and others from North Carolina's Native American community.
