More Charges Brought Against Suspected Robber

A Greenville man, charged earlier this week with robbing a Winterville business, is now accused is stealing a bank deposit back in May.

Greenville police say it happened May 14th in the parking lot of the BB&T on South Evans Street. That's when an employee of a nearby McDonalds was hit in the face and knocked to the ground before her bank deposit bag was swiped.

Mark Joyner was charged today as he was sitting in the Pitt County Detention Center after being charged with robbing the Dollar General Store earlier in the week.

Detectives continue to investigate other unsolved robberies and are trying to determine if the 36 year old Joyner is tied to any of them.
